ABOUT VOLSAR

Brothers-in-law, Joseph Volante and Anthony Saragosa founded Volsar Automotive in July 1976. Joe and Tony had combined their last names to form the company name, "Volsar." Both founders worked hard to build the company's reputation for being honest, friendly, and reliable.

In 1979 Tony retired due to health issues and Joe took over full ownership of the company.

In February 1984, Gus D'Alfonso was hired as a part-time mechanic apprentice. He was a gifted student of the Medford Vocational Technical High School with an incredible passion for cars. Over the years, Gus strengthened his mechanical knowledge, as well as his managerial skills.

In October 2000, Gus took over full ownership of Volsar, upon Joe's retirement.

Volsar continues to take pride in our excellent reputation for honesty, friendly same day service, competitive prices and qualified staff.
